Highlights from the dusty trail

Here are some pictures from my trip so far.

We found a giant moth at the lake.

He had the most amazing furry body and feathery antennae.

Almost as big as my face!

Surprise Uncle Pauly!

Hooking live minnows for the first time as bait for fishing.

Wonderscope's Space Room with my friend Ficher.

Building a fire pit with Grandma Suzette.

Giant Marshmallow Smores!

We went to the Georgia O'Keeffe and New Mexico Art Museums
in Santa Fe with Grandma & Grandpa.

Holding a hummingbird!!!  It bumped it's head on my Grandma's window
so we each got to hold him until he could fly away.

There are so many humming birds here.  You can stand right next to them while they eat from the feeder.  I couldn't feel this hummingbird in my hand it was so light.

  1. Hi Soren! I finally figured out how to post a comment. The whole class looked at your blog before school let out- here are some of the comments: "Are you having fun? I miss you! School is almost over - we get to wear swimsuits to wash the ball chairs. We went on a field trip to the Ordway to watch kid African dancers. Have you seen buffalos and mountains? You are a great friend. We miss you. What is Seattle like? We really miss you! " As you can see, the common theme is that you are truly missed by all. Our kindergarten class just wasn't the same without your smiling face and positive, friendly personality. I can't believe all the adventures you are having. The picture of you holding a hummingbird is amazing. Thanks for sharing your trip- I'll check back soon and can't wait to hear about your new home! Take care-Ms. Fogelberg
